I couldn’t wait to retire, but after about 6 months, I found myself feeling bored. So I ordered a candle making kit from Amazon and I was hooked!  I spent the next 9 months experimenting with different waxes, wicks and fragrance oils, all while searching for the perfect vessel.  I came up with a trade name, set up my sales tax registration, secured my domain name, created email addresses, and launched an online store.

Then came the words no one wants to hear “you have cancer.” Everything came to a halt.  My life shifted to hospital stays, biopsies, chemo and radiation. Now I’m undergoing immunotherapy and feeling better than ever about myself!

I’m ready to start again!  My store is called re.vive candles.  To me “re” means a second chance and I’m ready for whatever comes next.
